We use this program to aid students, of minorities, but leave out students who are not a part of a minority group. The students who are affected negatively by this program are the students’ who have families with low socioeconomic statuses and or are non minority pupil. These students are excluded from the program because of their parents, not because of the hard work they engulfed themselves in. The program calls for equality, but it instead establishes tension and spawns a larger gap between the differences of the American people. Well known columnist, Phyllis Schlafly, spends his time writing of the inequalities Americans face. His past articles display support for the cancellation of the Affirmative Action program.
