26, February 2015 Contraceptive We always say that in this world we already have enough babies and children with no homes. Sometimes people say how we need more of a population control because one of these days we are going to run out of food. Emergency Contraceptive is a way to prevent pregnancy after unprotected sex. Sometimes, it is known as the morningafter pill. Birth control is a way to prevent pregnancy over a period of time. It can be used in different ways to be more effective and to be less irritating and time consuming. Birth control is good for teenagers, especially nowadays when teens are more sexually active. …show more content…
With birth control, there will be less accidental pregnancies from rape victims and careless acts by teenagers.
All clinics should start giving out free birth control to all women once they turn 13. If clinics did start giving teenagers free birth control, the world would not have to worry about population control. In the article "Emergency Contraceptive Should be Available OTC" by Britt Wahlin, she states "Providing insurance coverage for over the counter access to birth control makes it possible for more women to make and carry out their own decisions on their reproductive lives and health." With more than enough people on this earth already, birth control is a great way to keep the population more in control. Taking the chance of teenagers accidentally getting pregnant would make the numbers of foster children decrease more and more each year. people could handle, it is recommended to all teenage women and women even older than that. If clinics gave out free birth control, then all women would be secure on not worrying about getting accidentally pregnant. Picture this: A woman with little money is walking down the street and is minding her own business and someone comes and rapes her. She does not want to worry about being pregnant, because why would she want to live with that constant reminder of the night that she will never forget anyways? In "Teens Should Have Access to Emergency Contraception Without Parental Consent," by Maura Kelly, states "making the morning after pill more readily available will also lower the amount of abortions in this country and the number of children born to unprepared girls". With free birth control poor women and teens would not have to worry about being pregnant. But no, the government does not provide that for everyone, so she is more harmed than she should be. Nowadays since kids are more sexually active, having birth control would be much needed. If clinics gave away free birth control to all teenage girls the kids would have a back up for when they are carelessly having sex. With the way teenagers are it is shocking that there is not even mor children running around. Birth Control would always a good thing to have, especially since more kids are having sex. Times are different now and teens think that they are more ready for taking on sex so their relationships all revolve around having sex now. One could argue that religious reasons stop teens and older women from getting birth control. But if that is the case, then abortions should be out of the picture too. Abortion is just as bad as birth control from a religious view. In a religious point of view birth control and abortion are frowned upon the same amount. Although abortion is when someone makes the decision to terminate the pregnancy, when the baby is already developing.
Birth control prevents getting pregnant from happening in the first place.
We understand the religious views on it, but understanding the time we are in now with as irresponsible as teens are these days, everyone should consider birth control for their kids. A weakness to not getting birth control would be having to get an abortion instead or having to go to school with all of the constant stares of your baby belly. They do not want to have to go through all of that and have to worry about school too. Also, accidental pregnancies are popular since teens these days don 't use or worry about using protection. Birth control should be given to all teenage girls at the age of thirteen. It is a great way to prevent accidental pregnancies from young adults. Also is a great way to control your period and make it regular so it comes and goes at the right time once a month. Birth control will help stop the population from exploding, like a population control that everyone is craving. More importantly, birth control will help save lives from rape victims and it will also prevent abortion. Work
