Why would a human gamble an innocent life as well as theirs? Why wouldn’t someone organize a strategic plan to arrive home safely without affecting a guiltless life? Figuratively speaking, friendships have the ability to fall apart due the decision to drive while intoxicated. Perhaps the skeleton actually signifies an old friendship that was lost after countless attempts to help the alcoholic. One could only help another in need until they become an enabler.
