USPS has been providing over half a million jobs to America for centuries. U.S. service clerks don't only get a paycheck of 25.41$ per hour and an average salary of 52,860$, they also have great benefits that other companies can’t provide such as multiple health and life insurance choices, retirement and thrift savings plans vacation time and sick leave, qualifying education assistance. The U.S. postal service also has a long service of providing career opportunities to veterans, reservists and their family members. As a graduate they provide opportunities to get involved in the meaningful work of the Postal service, when recent graduates join in the rotational internship they get the chance to build great friendships with other incoming graduates who are also interns, gain great experience in the line of work and build a foundation for a future career in the workforce. If it wasn’t for the USPS many jobs and benefits would be lost.
