Argumentative Essay: Stand Your Mate

“Stand your ground”! Is this what most people really do when they are found not guilty in reference to this law Michelle? I do agree that everybody is different in some shape, form, or fashion. However, if you are in a relationship and you experience differences and your mate has any traits of violence, abusiveness, or threatening behavior, you should move on immediately. People, sometimes could’ve avoided certain incidents from occurring but because that person may have a good paying employer, great sex, or spend money on their mate, they stay involved for the wrong reasons and then that regretful day arrives!
Conversely, this is not for every relationship and sometimes there aren’t any sign of violence and everyone is results in a state of
shock! I do agree that no one should feel threatened in their home but you can avoid the incidents from occurring in most cases. The young lady did not have to go back when she left and her friend picked her up. Why did she return to their home? If she had to return she should’ve informed the authorities that she needed to retrieve some personal items, explain what has transpired, and request their assistance. This young man is dead because she grabbed a knife for her defense, but he cannot expound on his side of the story, can he? Did she have to kill him and was this self-defense? Can you honestly answer this question Michelle?
