A final reason why these sports even football shouldn’t be banned in school is because the more you teach younger kids about football, the less hurt they will become out on the field. My evidence from the text to support my answer is, “Even though most coaches have the right ideas in terms of how to teach players to hit, there are those at youth football who need to be more educated on tackling techniques”(pg 197). This also teaches how if we need to teach kids more about techniques of how to safely play the game, we can. In conclusion, these sports shouldn’t be banned in schools because dodgeball teaches mental and physical skills, in cheer there are coaches who are trained and certified, and in football more teachings about techniques means less…

I think for reducing even eliminating this trend, counseling of parents is necessary so that they do not make their children to participate in such competitive games at such young age in fact indulge them in less tough and rule less games in order to make lives of their children better and happy. Parents should understand that their act of pressurizing children for such games make them to move more far away from the entire concept of sports. I believe that support of these games which only cause mental and physical stress to children should be end as soon as…

Many states have already begun banning dodgeball in their physical education curriculums. As of now 9,137 schools have taken dodgeball out of their programs, and all the time new schools are considering it. The reason for this is that they think our country should not have any games with human targets. Officials believe these are the first signs of how the stronger people can pick on the weaker, and they also don’t want children competing with each other. On the contrary, dodgeball is a fun way to receive exercise. It is also not an everyday activity that children should look forward to. There is no reason for it to be taken out of gym programs. In a perfect world the athletes we look up to would be law abiding great citizens. They'll give back to the community, do countless hours of community service, fix our schools, parks, and anything else that's asked of them. However, this is no utopia and some of our athletes are not law abiding citizens; with a few of them having multiple run-ins with the law. Being a media crazed era, we are seeing more athletes have run-ins with the law, particularly the National Basketball Association, Major League Baseball, and the National Football League. When someone does do something, instantly people form their own opinion about what a proper punishment is and it seems to point too banning players. With that being said, should the National Football…

Football is a very fun sport that invalves tackling, pushing, and hitting. Most of the time football is fun just from playing ruff (tackling, pushing, hitting). Kids who play football are always to play games like bull in the ring and oklahoma drills which are very contact drills, and so is football. Now, coaches are thinking about having a limited number of hits in practice. But most players disagree with that statement because football is all about hitting. If they use limited number of hits, then they will take away the fun out of football.…

Youths that are in middle school and primary should be banned from playing dodge ball, cheerleading, and football in schools. I agree that youths should be banned because, most of these sports can contain hurtful things towards other kids. According to a dodgeball coach Neil Williams, a professor of education at Eastern Connecticut State University, “The game allows the stronger kids to pick and target the weaker kids.” This proves that some of these games will allow kids to get bullied throughout games and sports. Cheer is very dangerous every year there are lots of girls and boys getting hurt during cheer. According to Lynne Castro the mother of Costa Mesa she says cheerleading is scary. “It’s scary. Schools should ban tag and other playground games. Banning tag is a good idea because it will limit the amount of injuries. When kids play tag, sometimes it can get a little too rough and lead to them getting hurt. When we ban tag, we eliminate the amount of kids that go home with injuries. To add on, banning tag and other playground games will also limit the amount of bullying.Sometimes kids are repeatedly targeted by bullies. When we take tag away, we prevent this situation from even starting. This will make sure kids feelings won't get hurt. One time my son came home crying because kids kept singling him out in tag. Taking away tag will also prevent lawsuits against schools. When kids get hurt some parents will sue the schools. This means the schools have to pay a lot of money to the parents because their kids got hurt. When we take away tag, this insures that the parents will now have little to no reason to sue the schools.…
