The historic document that helped shape America, the Declaration of Independence says health care should be provided. In the document it says that every human has, “unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness, ." This is important because in order to preserve life and happiness you need health care. This shows that having health care will help in maintaining life and if you are healthy you are also happy. Such as, if there were a lot of people not feeling well or sick, then it would take a lot of time for the patients to receive the full medical attention. However, Harvard researchers state that ‘lack of health insurance is associated with as many as 44,789 deaths per year,” This converts to 40% increased risk of death for people without health care. So even if the people have to wait, health care reduces the death rates.
In conclusion, the government should provide health care because of the death rates will get lower.. The government should provide health care because it maintains our rights that the Declaration of Independence states and also will reduce the amount of deaths per year. If the government provides health care then families will not have to worry about death too
