Most religious teachings suggest that materialism is one of the root of evil. Materialism is often linking toward God blessing and gifting of worldly material possessions. Nevertheless, religiosity suggest ways to detach from worldly possessions, meanwhile, materialism tend to fulfil consumption desire and possessions. Luxury goods are often considered as fulfilling possessions status and attachment to worldly desire, therefore, it seems against the concept of religiousness.

It’s fair to say that based on the characteristic of the attitude that one attitude only has positive relation with one religiousness. The writer absolutely agreed with the pair of each. Intrinsic religiousness which tend to live according to ways of religion related with affective attitude because both according to positive emotional and deep personal vibes (e.g. peace). Also, extrinsic religiousness which tend to influenced by society related with self-presentation because both looking for retain social approval.
