The Executive Branch is the face of American politics not only within the country but the entirety of the world. The Executive Branch is led by the President of the United States. The President is elected every four years and has a maximum of two terms. The President doesn’t do everything alone, his Vice President and his other Departments are there to help. If the President does not do his duties or breaks the law in some way, he may be impeached. The House of Representatives has the power to impeach the President and the Senate has the trial for the impeachment. During this process the Vice President is not involved in the Senate as it would be a conflict of interest. This prevents the President from doing anything unlawful and keeps him honest. The Judicial Branch is the branch that are effectively the elders of our society. The common name for the Judicial Branch is the Supreme Court. They are made of nine members that are appointed by the President of the United States. When a Supreme Court Justice is appointed by the President, he/she is given that position until their death or until they retire. The Judicial Branch has the ability to interpret the laws of the land and apply them to problem cases.
