Abstract
IKEA is a globally-known furniture company that has 332 stores around the globe and currently is the 3rd largest wood-buyer in the world. It has various features for comfortable goods use and its ordering. Also their delivery system is made comfortable for consumer use. The following essay describing Information Processing Cycle and Information System where both contain five elements. Input devices that include smart phones, table PCs, laptops, desktop PCs, PDAs; process described step by step from the beginning until furniture ship at home; output devices that use both consumers for ordering and paying, workers for editing and processing and for other purposes such as printing advertisements and banners. Various storage techniques such as password protection, personal sites, self-defined navigational trees and shrubs, file variation history, mobile accessibility, file variation history and so on. Communication is performed by the way of wired and wireless networks, through mobile phones and SMS, online and Skype. Furthermore all elements of an Information System are described. Data and information represented by statistic about sold goods and its volume, products description, customers personal information and delivery location.
