Transition: Being one solution of global warming, laws can help it as well
C. The second part solution that I propose is: To enforce certain type of laws that will conserve the natural peace of the environment, and wouldn't tolerate the used or wasted greenhouse gas that will affect the environment.
1. Columbia Law School states that there has been laws proposed on climate change. For example, clean air act is an act that that is designed to protect health and environment by reducing air pollution. Reducing air pollution by having specialized laws that regulate the limited amount of excess air pollution in the atmosphere by human activity. 2. These laws are vital to maintain because human health and environmental living is depending on it. Without these laws people will produce countless of greenhouse gas and other harmful substances that will make global come quicker than

One thing that affects the atmosphere very much is cars. The pollution from cars kills animals, plants, and other organisms. (Document F) Organisms have to be rescued, if they continue dying, the world will be left with no resources. If people just walked instead of using a car at least a day of each week, many organisms would be saved. The government has many options they could take to reduce greenhouse gasses, for example The Kyoto Protocol. (Document K) The problem is that they don’t believe it is happening.…

I believe that the onus is on citizens to lessen the effect of climate change, and that they should reduce their carbon footprint in daily life in several ways. On an individual level, people should reduce the use of air-conditioning units, which release copious amounts of carbon dioxide and gives rise to global warming. An alternative is that they should use fans, which are more environmentally friendly. Citizens should be more aware of the use of energy at home.…

One huge step would be to include political power into making changes to climate and environmental issues. Climate change should not be a biased issue as it affects all of us. If it’s not perceived by both sides of politics(the leader and the people) as an important issue, it will inevitably causes further complications in the future. If it’s one-sided, internal conflict might end up causing unnecessary trouble, further delaying what should really be done¬ – encouraging and increasing awareness of environmental issues, followed by global effort in solving it. As one mind, appropriate policies should be arranged towards making the world a better place. This is the only way a global solution can be put in place, with time being…

Elizabeth Kolbert’s Field Notes from a Catastrophe was my first in-depth look into climate change, global warming, and the contribution of humans to these things. Global warming was something I vaguely knew about before reading this book, but it never really caught my attention or seemed like a major issue in the world. After reading Field Notes from a Catastrophe, I realized that it is in fact a major issue that must be addressed by every community. In this essay I will argue that it is our job as the human race to do all that we can to take care of our planet and reduce the amount of global warming that humans are responsible for. This essay is significant because this is our world. Global warming may not be something that has a significant impact on our lives, but whether it is our grandchildren or great grandchildren, there will be consequences eventually for the human race and the other species that we share this planet with.…

First, we have global warming, which is a problem that must be solved as soon as possible. Some ignorant people think that it won’t happen but we are actually living this situation right now, every single day. According to some NASA studies, since 1950, the average temperature has climbed 1.4Fahrenheit degrees around the world. As a consequence of this fact, an Arctic ice area, which was bigger than the United States, has melted this year! Another evidence of global warning is that the frequency and number of hurricanes and earthquakes around the world has increased the last years. The irony of all this is that even though we do realize what is happening; even though we know that we are destroying our planet, we are still polluting, wasting and damaging.…

The majority belief, particularly in the past few decades, is that climate change is solely a result of human activities putting a huge strain on the planet and it is these man-made issues that probably cause the most damage. Global warming is not the root cause of climate change, either, but simply an intermediate step between the actions of human beings (resulting in emissions) and the response of Earth's dynamic systems. The Earth Charter opens with inspiring and sobering words about the challenge to human beings of living in these times, and closes with a call to responsible action and commitment. In between, the Charter lists a set of sixteen general ethical principles, and sixty-six more specific supporting principles, that can help us with an essential task for the 21st Century: discerning right from wrong action in the care of nature and development of human societies. The lower-numbered Principles are the most general and aspirational. "Secure Earth's bounty and beauty for present and future generations," says Principle 4 -- and already we know that we are in trouble. If we allow the processes warming the globe to continue, Earth's bounty and beauty is anything but secure. "Transmit to future generations values, traditions, and institutions that support the long-term flourishing of Earth's human and ecological communities." One dearly hopes that the world's governments, gathered in Bali to determine the fate of their collaborations to address climate change, take this Principle (4b) to heart, and create the institution of a strong agreement, based on shared values, and ultimately adopted as heartily as a tradition, one carried forward for…

In the past 100 years, the temperature of our Earth has increased by about 4.5 degrees (Guggenheim). This may not seem like a lot, but on a global scale, it can have a huge impact. Global Warming is a serious problem, and it should be taken very seriously. Unless we take action now, we will have major consequences to deal with later on. These include, but are certainly not limited to, extreme weather, a decline in polar life, and effects on human health. It seems like Global Warming has become such a political issue that people tend to take a side based solely on the political party they support. This needs to stop. No matter where you fall on the political spectrum, you cannot ignore the facts. The temperature of our atmosphere has been increasing at an alarming rate in recent years. Global warming is happening, and action needs to be taken to stop it, no exceptions.…
