PETROLEUM LAND MANAGEMENT - SUMMER STUDENTS
Apache Canada Ltd. seeks Petroleum Land Management students for 2015 summer positions in our Calgary office. The successful candidates will be working in a team environment and responsibilities may include:
Provide support to the Land
Management Team as directed
Basic lease review and agreement analysis Provide assistance with expiries/continuations Research, process and liaise with
Accounting relating to financial obligations created by our extensive land inventory as it related to rentals, shut-in obligations, compensatory penalty payments, royalties and mineral taxes issues
Review and code receivables relating to Land
General involvement in basic contract drafting and first level negotiations
Assist in analyzing and processing caveat functions, perform crown and freehold instrument searches including handling of E-transfers
Preparation of land maps for land sales, expiries, competitor analysis
The ideal candidates will be enrolled in 3rd year Commerce with a Petroleum Land Management major. Some prior experience in the oil and gas industry would be an asset.
