INTRODUCTION
FormTech Incorporated is a company that established in 1990 in Caloocan City in which introduce and develop the automotive soft trim line. It produces motor car accessories such as spare tire/cover/lid comp. trim rear shell (hardboard and fiberboard materials). They also introduce plastic division, blowing and injection forming. They also develop and produce of reservoir tanks, air ducts, nameplates and other plastic parts by blowing and injection forming. Today, they have two manufacturing plants both located in Valenzuela City in which they have a joint venture in Filfiber Mfg. Corporation. FormTech Inc. is in needs of technical advancement process in some facets of their operation especially in the security area located at the gate of the company where the employees signed in the logbook in order for them to login and also to logout. This process takes to long and very time consuming. In regard to this, the Human Resources Department noticed that there is a discrepancy in time login and logout of the employee written in the logbook and the calculating of distributive wages isn’t more transparent and precise. For this instance, the company is still craving to produce a course of action to this problem as soon as possible. According with the observation within the company, the researchers came up with an idea of creating a Log in and Log out system of the employee which accompanied with high quality and capabilities compared to the existing system which is the Logbook. The Automated Time Monitoring System aims to provide fast and accurate records to become more transparent in calculating distributive wages of an employee in regards with its existence inside the company.
The Automated Time Monitoring System helps to track time the employees log in and out. The system involves Smart Card ID and Smart Card Reader to help recognize and help them identify and record their working hours as the employee log in and out faster and
