Becoming an Automotive Engineer
Do you like to work with automobiles and modify them? Then becoming an automotive engineer is the perfect occupation for you. One example is if your car breaks down, you can fix it. This career is for me because I like to build and work on mechanical things. I am also interested in this career because I like to draw cars and draw designs for new ones. I believe that going to college plays a very important role in becoming a successful automotive engineer.
To become an automotive engineer, there are certain job tasks, special skills and talents, as well as a higher education that you need to be aware of. First of all, the job tasks. Some of them you have to do are conducting and directing automotive testing and presenting status reports. Next, special skills. These are very important in becoming a successful automotive engineer as they will prepare you for the job. Some of them you need to take include advanced math classes like trigonometry and calculus. Other courses may include physical science, life science, designing, and engineering. All these courses need to get passed to become a successful automotive engineer. Passing your high school classes are crucial in becoming an automotive engineer because it will ready you for the future.
Lastly, automotive engineers may get promoted, and have a high pay, but if you don't want to be an automotive engineer, there are also different fields. Automotive engineers earn around eighty-four thousand one hundred ninety dollars per year as of median pay in May 2016. Some related jobs may include being a civil engineer or even a manufacturer.
