Morals and attitudes on sex are quite different in BNW versus that in society now. These morals are taught through hypnopaedia; currently morals are taught through factors such as family, school, media, the government, and the economy. A change in moral attitudes while seemingly possible through hypnopaedia would likely be rejected by the general public. Perhaps in a more government controlled society, this change could be implemented. While it is possible to teach a new generation through hypnopaedia, it is currently morally wrong and would be hard fought to bring to fruition. Progress and innovation currently drive our economy and well-being. Ending it would be suicide to anyone’s wellbeing. Although it is possible that a lack of innovation, change of morals, and technology could change so much as to morph in BNW’s society.
