exploiting their new world. As the war rages on, Jake and Neytiri successfully destroy the main ship of U.S. Armed Forces. The movie director James Cameron has successfully created the great Avatar film from a great adventure story and decorated it with special effects to make it even more exciting to watch. As a result, the movie is not like any other film that use special effects as fillers. Rather, it is something that the moviegoers would watch for its incredible story-telling rather than just its special effects, but its special effects are even better than those of other films of 2009.
In the movie, the Na'vi aliens, strange creatures, gunships, and the explosions all appear realistic.
James Cameron makes sure that every second of the movie has correct lightings and sounds with the help of his team of animators and musicians. The planet Pandora shown in the movie looks absolutely beautiful. Its trees, waterfalls, and floating islands are well-designed by the finest team of graphic designers and artists.
Not only the Avatar movie is known for its best special effects, it is also known for its meaningful story by the critics. In the movie, when beautiful Neytiri is telling Jake Sully about the importance of Pandora to the Na’vi, Jake comes to realize that his U.S. Armed Forces team has been trying to exploit the planet Pandora, possibly destroying the lives of Na’vi. Jake wants the armed forces to leave the Na’vi alone. This scene shows that the whole story of Avatar is trying to promote anti-violence and
peace. The film depicted lots of violence, but James Cameron directed it in a manner that got the moviegoers to sympathize with the Na’vi aliens. The army captain is portrayed with an evil personality so the audience views him as an antagonist that favors violence. Also, the Na’vi aliens appear unthreatening to the humans, but the captain stereotypes them as hostiles just so he has a “reason” to start the war against them. Jake Sully’s decision to side with the Na’vi tells the audiences that he is against the imperialism, and is promoting equality and peace. Not to mention, the Na’vi have built a village on Pandora while preserving the surrounding habitats of animal creatures so the Na’vi and the creatures do not have to fight for space. But when the U.S. Armed Forces land on Pandora, they plan to use their massive army against the Na’vi with the goal of acquiring the rare minerals. It would be in the best interest of both the species to negotiate and promote peace instead of waging war and causing needless violence.
