Azealia Banks
This is damn serious! Really Russell?

According to an undisclosed news source, rapper Azealia Banks claimed something that is unexpected. It's not good news, but it's really bad. She claimed that legendary and well-respected actor Russell Crowe just assaulted and choked her in his hotel room. Not only that, he even called her a "N****R", choked and threw her out. She even said that the men in his room allowed it and felt terrible on that day. She can't believe that none of those men are going to defend or tend to her after Russell choked her. However, this is some sort of a mistake that the witnesses claimed. As a result, Azealia had no other choice but to delete the post. You know why? It is because some claims said that the story isn't true. It's a different story instead of what really happened to the

By the way, Azealia Banks was invited by another rapper named RZA. As for him, he had previously worked with Russell Crowe in a film called The Man With The Iron Fists. RZA is a 47-year old Wu Tang Clan member who isn't just a celebrity or a movie star alone. As for this incident, Russell didn't blame RZA for bringing Azealia to the party. It all started when Russell Crowe wanted her to sing with his choice of music, and she called them as boring white men. This is according to a popular source known as TMZ.

Before calling the security guards, she just simply calmed down and grab her outside until she was restrained. It was indeed a lesson learned for Azealia Banks for making false claims against someone who didn't do anything wrong. Russell is out there to protect his guests that he'd invited, including RZA. At first, we really thought that this is true because she's a woman and has rights. However, not all of them are in favor sometimes. Women are also like men who makes mistakes, especially in their social media claims against anyone like Russell

My first choice would have been a movie called Freedom Writers, however, since Brittany has already discussed it I’ll discuss another movie. The movie that is the next most powerful story I know is called “The Fantasia Barrino Story: Life Is Not a Fairy Tale.” Most of you probably have seen it before, if not you probably remember Fantasia Barrino whom was the winner of American Idol: Season 3. When Fantasia Barrino was in high school she was raped, she felt so alone after the attack and thought no one would believe her so she dropped out of school. Now Fantasia was a teenage dropout who had no money, no education and no chance at a real future. At 16, Fantasia found herself in an abusive relationship that left her pregnant and lost. But she refused to give up on her dreams. This movie tells how this inspiring young single mom used her incredible voice to become an American Idol, as well as a Grammy®-nominated, platinum-selling recording artist. This movie was very emotional because when the movie got towards the middle I was crying my eyes out. This movie has made Fantasia Barrino my idol and it had a really huge impact on me because my story is similar to hers so I can relate. The author of this movie had an effect of her audience by the way the movie was interesting from beginning to the end. Another way is because this movie is very encouraging to young women and even some men too. In my narrative next week I would like to write about never giving up on your dreams.…

Have a little Faith, Don’t give up” was quoted by the famous Fantasia Barrino. The quote is simply saying when life gets tough and hard, just keep the faith and go on. Fantasia is important in the music industry because her cousins are the famous K-Ci and JoJo from the group “Jodeci”. She is also important because people thought she wouldn’t be successful because she dropped out of high school and was functionally illiterate. I chose Fantasia because My mother and I love her music and she is also a prime example of a person who didn’t give up no matter what was thrown at her.…

On page 388 of the class’s anthology there is a work by Audre Lorde entitled “Power.” What interests me about this work is how Lorde expressed her poem(s) with a meaningful purpose; she expresses and explores pride, love anger, fear, racial and sexual oppression, urban neglect and personal survival.
