In a team based work, the team must start by defining the problem and counting the flaws of the old design, then the team can generate solutions. The team started by doing some research about Azraq camp and they found out that there is only one school in Azraq camp. It was opened in 2014 with a capacity of 5000 students. The design is composed of interlocking sheet structure, aluminium foam insulation and plastic sheeting. In addition to that, the flooring is made of concrete and metal rubber layers. "Children who have missed a year or more of school may struggle to re-enter formal schooling because they cannot catch up or are put in grades below their age, NRC Education Project Manager Camilla Lodi noted. This problem is not only in Azraq camp, In the Zaatari camp, they have the same problem also. A supervisor, said that NRC is working with UNICEF and the Education Ministry to develop pathways back to formal education for children who have been out of the system for long periods of time. According to the study, this programme has not been established yet, so the Syrian students have to learn in an isolated school.

The unrest, in Syria, began in the early spring of 2011, so in five years in the camps are still struggling to provide an appropriate school for the children. The camps still have problems that can be solved if the governments put more efforts into it. The building design and the NRC-UNICEF education program is prepared for refugees, which means that the school is temporary. This can affect the quality of the education system. Syria will have a whole generation. The children are not catching up with the newest learning technology. This will affect Syria in the future.
