While this does concern most parents, they wonder what they can do to stop the problem. Although almost all sports will promote a social environment around children, due to the constant competition of many sports it’s not as easy to find activities that will build character as well. However, an activity like ballet is not only a sport, but an art too. Because of this, ballet requires memorization and strict attention to detail which empowers children to work hard, even at a young age. It also has the same group setting as other sports, creating a great nurturing environment for improving communication skills. By giving kids the opportunity to open up to a new social environment along with memorization and attention to detail that they may have never experienced before, you are also giving them the opportunity to feel a level of confidence that they have never felt before.
