CHAPTER I
Company Profile
Barangay Sevilla got its name from sevilla, spain. Its people are mixture of prominent natives of the barangay like the Gutizas and Quinzons, the Sotos the Villareals and the Sanglays and migrants to the place like the Federicos, the peraltas, and the Fernandezes. Barangay Sevilla is located 2.5Kilometers away from the city proper with a total land area of 274.70 Hectares. Barangay Hall, Barangay Health Center and Barangay Health Center are found in Purok 4 of the Barangay.
Problem Definition
1. Records are not up date
2. The Barangay doesn’t have a complete record.
Objectives of the Study
The general objective of this study is to make a Barangay Management System.
Specifically we aim to:
1. Make a system that would enable the barangay to maintain complete and up to date records.
2. Make a system that would facilitate processing of community tax dues, barangay clearance fees and other charges that serves as sources of barangay revenue.
3. Make a system that would easily prepare and print barangay permits and certifications such as Community Tax Certificate, Occupational permits and Barangay Clearance.
Project Description
This system facilitates barangay management by enabling the barangay to maintain their records as complete and up-to-date as possible and as easily accessible for verification, monitoring and reference purposes. The basic components of this system is its automatic assessment feature which facilitates processing of community tax dues, professional tax, barangay clearance fees and other such charges which are sources of barangay revenues. The system also allows for other barangay-related functions such as those including security and peace-keeping operations such as incident reporting, blotter, reports and records of the barangay peace-keeping council, and other related services.
