Barry Schwartz's The Paradox Of Choice
1. In the video “The Paradox of Choice” Barry Schwartz talks about how freedom is good in the Western industrial society, which gives us more choices. More choices have negative effects which increases paralysis and decreases satisfaction.
2. Barry Schwartz is saying some choice is better than none. Because of so many choices people have higher expectations which cause less satisfaction.
3. I agree with all of what Barry Schwartz says. I like the point he made saying “The expensive complicated choices, it’s not simply that they don’t help. They actually hurt. They actually makes us worse off.”
