Bca University Benefits
After doing some research of what universities will be a good match for my major, I found two potential options: The University of Central Florida and The University of Florida.
The great benefit of starting in a community college like Valencia, is that they offer direct connect to the great University of Central Florida (UCF), without taking exams or the admission process. Thanks to this amazing opportunity the UCF has become one of the best universities in Florida. Here are some interesting fact that I found about this university. If we look at the cost of the credits hours it is $281 for an in-state student that add to $4,526 per two semester, with a total of $18,100 per year including books and supplies. Due to the huge amount of students, a total of 53,401, the university provide dorms (shared bedrooms) with the cost of $967 per month and for an apartment of two bedroom is $2481 per month. The University of Central Florida campus was ranked the 20th most beautiful in the country by the Newsweek because of his concentric

Founded in 1853, the UF is one of the oldest universities in Florida with a staff of 5,106 and a total of students of 49, 042. In terms of cost, $201 per credits hours, $4,373 per two semesters and with a total of $16,183 per year for in-state students (cheaper that the UCF), but in the UF the dorms are more expensive: for a triple bedroom is $981 and for a shared is &1080. The UF is located in Gainesville, Florida, two hours from my house here in Kissimmee. The campus is home of to many notable structures, such as Century Tower tall carillon tower in the center of the historic district (in memory of World War 1 and 2). Other important facilities include the Health Science Center, Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, Reitz Student Union, Smathers Library, Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, Harn Museum, University Auditorium, O'Connell Center, and The Hub.
In Sports the University of Florida don’t stay behind, with their historical team called “Florida Gators” have won a total of thirty-five national team championships, thirty of which are NCAA championships. An interesting fact is that Florida gators athletes have also one 267 NCAA championships in individual sports events. They also won multiples championships in the two most popular sport in the NCAA, football (1996, 2006, and 2008) and basketball (2006,

Probably the most important thing that each of these schools has to offer is their location. Miami-dade college has six campuses throughout the fun and exciting city of Miami. The main campus is located in the heart of Downtown Miami, right in front of the court house, and two streets away from the tourist attraction, Bayfront Park. The greatest thing about going to class in Downtown Miami, is that being such a metropolitan location, students are able to ride the Metro-rail, a public transit system that rides on an elevated rail, for free, which is an experience in itself. Students are also exposed to so many great professionals who go to and from work everyday in this busy area of the city, allowing them the opportunity to not only familiarize themselves with the city, but they are also given the opportunity to network with people who could potentially benefit them in the future. On the other hand, Valencia is located in Orlando, a city with a much slower pace, and a much more goal goal oriented attitude. Orlando may not be the city that will give people as much to see as Miami, but it is home to so many world renown resorts, and of course Disney. It is the Mecca for…

It’s easy to say that college athletes are the reason why the NCAA makes its money but they need to be coached and not all talent is “God-given.” College football and basketball games boost the ratings of many T.V. stations as well as bring a lot of money to the NCAA through ticket sales, sponsorships and television contracts. A total of $330,560,000 in total revenue was brought into the NCAA in the 2000-2001 season with 78.7% of that being from television companies. CBS signed an 11-year contract to cover the NCAA Men’s Division I Basketball Championship and other events. The money coming from CBS is for the competition of the tournament every year not for specific athletes because almost every year there is a new starting five in there.…

Helping with the success of revenues in schools are wins by football teams and basketball teams. 6.2 billion was spent…

When I begin my journey I will make sure I keep my goals front and center. I know that in order to be one of the best students in my class I will have to be well rounded and not solely rely on my strengths in certain subjects.
