In 1787, the framework of the French Revolution was established through delegates assembling in Philadelphia during the American Revolution, which marked the end of the economic depression in America and increased central government authority. This made the American power increase from Montesquieu’s ideas of checks and balances and interest around the world. The American Revolution influenced the French through the numerous pamphlets and articles written about classical liberalism that Americans were undergoing, whereas the French took these ideas of a republic and this sparked the French Revolution. The ideas of these French participants went from requests of removing government neglect, which later led to demands of liberty for the people in the country, and then turned the people towards radical efforts of protecting the French Revolution.…

The French Revolution began in 1789 due to the inequality of French society. The French society was divided into three estates. The first two consisted of clergy and nobility respectively. The third was made up of merchants, businessmen, lawyers, and peasants. They had the least rights and privileges compared with the other estates. The third estate had to pay all the taxes imposed by the king, King Louis XVI, whereas the other estates were excused from it. This made life harder for the peasants, but also sparked the French revolution when the Third Estate began to demand more rights.…

Many had grown tired of British insults and being looked down on by the mother country. After the war, Britain’s debt was immense. The mother country’s solution was to impose taxes upon the colonists to erase the debt, seeing as the war was most beneficial to them. This new responsibility was not welcomed by the colonists who, with their new sense of unity, found a common resentment towards England. Along with the resentment, colonists saw no reason for British occupation to continue because the French threat was no longer present. This was the spark the ignited the fight for independence.…

The revolutionary era, 1763-1789, began towards the developed colonies to the extent that the nation, of its capacity, was to separate as there had become conflict that led to revolt. During this era there was no stable government, which questioned the nation’s identity. This brought upon the laws and acts being made toward the colonists’ by the British parliament and King George to help them pay off their debt after the Seven Years’ War. The acts that were made had a purpose to benefit all the people in the colonies, but instead created additional tension. The result towards the end of the era was for America to become independent from Great Britain through war and documentation that became important in history.…
Written for a broad, general audience—without footnotes, a bibliography, or other formalities—The Coming of the French Revolution still holds a persuasive power over the reader. Georges Lefebvre wrote The Coming of the French Revolution in 1939, carefully dividing the story into six parts. The first four are organized around four acts, each associated with the four major groups in France—the “Aristocratic Revolution,” the “Bourgeois Revolution,” the “Popular Revolution,” and the “Peasant Revolution.” Part V examines the acts of the National Assembly to abolish feudalism and write Declaration of the Rights of Man and Citizen, and Part VI presents the “October Days” (xv-xvii).…

Even though this revolution started in a similar fashion it was much more brutal from the start with all the ways the ways anti-revolutionists and aristocrats were tortured and murdered. Also many peasants revolted against the nobles and landlords of France. Lastly the revolution continued for such a long time because of the chaotic-ness of the situation and how for several years the new governments were so unstable that they fell or turned into what they revolted from in the first place. Essay #3: The Seeds of Independence Revolutions are like plants. If the seeds are planted and nurtured, the plants will grow. Yet, if the plants aren’t taken care of, they won’t survive. The seeds of independence that grew into the American Revolution were: the early settlers of America learned how to survive on their own, they learned how to thrive and become wealthy, and then learned that Britain was taking advantage of them. A comparison of the aspects of the American Revolution, which allowed America to develop into her own nation, with aspects of other unsuccessful revolutions that took place in different countries, must be made in order to completely understand the reasons why the plant of the American Revolution grew into a flourishing…
Span of control is refers to the number of direct reports a manager has. In other words it states the number of employees can a manager efficiently and effectively manage. The optimal numbers of subordinates supervised by a single executive is 5 to 6 in an average firm. It is importantly to note that managers that have more than six subordinates would soon lose track of what is going on in the organisation. Therefore the number of direct reports a manager can handle depends on the nature of the work being supervised, how visible the performance of subordinates is and the extent of decentralisation within an organisation. Generally, if the work performed by subordinates is routine then the performance of subordinates is visible and easy to measure,…
