From birth to childhood , the child discovers the whole experience of life throughout their growth, the small child starts to become regimented into the learning system and starts to explore while they go along through their childhood stages .…
When you are in the childhood age group, things that seem big to you actually are not all that big. For example, when Dennis' mom tells him he has to go to Margaret's house while she goes to work all summer, he acts like it is the end of the world. In the adolescent age group things get a little more stressful. Some things that are stressful for the adolescents are keeping up their grades because school has gotten harder, getting a job, making the team, and things like that. With the adulthood and older adulthood age group comes the realization of necessities needed to just get by because it is the first time you are supporting yourself. As time goes on you get more and more worries like; house payments, car payments, life insurance, taxes, bills, etc. Also, if you decide to have kids then you have to think about the costs of diapers, clothes, bottles, milk, baby food, and other baby necessities. The worries and stresses go on and on and seem to never…
Growing up, there is the infant and toddler stage of life then there is the teen stage, young adult and adult stage. Children and young people, even if they are at the same age, are different. This happen because their development is influenced by both personal and external factors.…
Teens can be fun and are able to do more than a toddler would be able to. Even though they are in the process of learning teens can do more themselves such as bathing, cooking, and cleaning. They are great with helping out with younger siblings. As teens build their independence they have a lot more stress to deal with than a toddler would. There is so much pressure that surrounds a teens everyday life which includes peer pressure, relationships, sex, bullying, social media, drugs and school work. Communication is not always but, for the most part easier to understand than a toddlers. Toddlers on the other hand can be a handful and are understandably more needy. Toddlers can be lots of fun and playful but any little change in their schedule or missed nap time can result in a major catastrophe! Thankfully toddlers are easily satisfied and very forgiving.Having a toddler has its stresses but one thing you can always be sure of is knowing where they are at. Unlike teens, toddlers are more dependent on their parents and are pretty much always by their side. On the downside everything is a learning experience, this includes the not so fun potty training stage. The one thing that makes the stresses of having a toddler seem no existent is that they are so cute and still love to…
There are many variances in how each age group reacts and responds, health wise and body. Preschool-aged and toddlers need more structure and support from their parents to do well in life. A simple task a brushing their teeth can use some help, or even eating and sleeping. However, as they progress through life and become school-aged children they will take the values and behaviors they learned from their previous years and build on top of it until they create their own sense of identity. As a child learns, they will start understanding the differences between right and wrong, needs and wants more clearly. (Academia.edu. n.d.).…
It is very important for adults who are responsible for children in there formative years to know this. Children are influenced by everything they see. Adults should also be aware of the years in which they have the skills able to identify and do what they see. Children do not all develop at the same rate; therefore, making it harder to identify this stage of life. Children are more influenced by people that they respect a lot, like parents, than they are by people they just know, babysitter.…
The differences are seen in how each developmental phase interacts and responds within each health assessment pattern. The toddler and preschool child need more structure and routine, whether it’s brushing their teeth, eating or bedtime rituals. School-aged children take the values and learned behaviors of being a toddler and build upon them as they move toward building their own self-concept and sense of identity. There are similarities as the children strive for autonomy and the ability to express themselves verbally. As the child continues to learn, they will develop an understanding of good behaviors and bad behaviors.…
The brain is more adaptive during the period of adolescence due to the developing-mind between the years of 12 and 25. The brain has the least amount of growth during this phase, however it experiences vast reconstruction, absorbing everything that the synapses find useful to succeed in the life ahead. The brain begins to shape itself using the neurons extensively to make the mind more efficient for when adulthood comes. These traits acquired during adolescence stays with one even after maturation, leaving a permanent mark that is hard to change. The changes that the brain encounters begin to mold who they become, peers play a major role during this stage due to the reaction one has from the reward of success in taking risks as they adjust to life eventually making our world a better place.…
Juveniles are treated different than adults for obvious reasons. One of the more popular ones include, that juvenile brains aren’t fully developed so teens don’t fully understand what they are doing. Another thing that is different about adults and juveniles is who usually decides the cases. In adult cases, their fate lies…

In adult courts juveniles can be eligible for more severe punishments such as life sentences without parole or even the death penalty. The juvenile will be placed in adult jails with adults while awaiting sentencing, rather than being held in a juvenile detention center. The staff is not geared toward the well being of the child in adult prisons/ jails. Also with adult charges it carries a social stigma. Juvenile records have sealing and can be expunged which makes it unavailable to the general public. But the adult courts its public…
Juvenile courts differ from adult courts, but on the other hand, they are similar. Juvenile courts serve more of a guide for children who commit some sort of wrongdoing. For example, the state is the higher or ultimate parent for children within the jurisdiction. Courts save children from continuing through the wrong paths, nurture them while in the process, reform, and take primary consideration for those noncriminal procedures. In an adult court, the most important part is the due process and justice and not necessarily the person. Juveniles are known as delinquents as for adults are criminals. Both juveniles and adults receive their Miranda rights and have the same authority figures.…
A juvenile is a child under the age of 18 but in some states the maximum age is 16 (find law), a juvenile delinquent is a child who has committed crime/s many juvenile delinquents commit crimes because, that’s just how they were taught. Children living in bad parts of a city or state will be subjected to more illegal things than kids growing up in better neighborhoods. Because, the law is looked at allot closer in the good cities where it isn’t so harsh. Because of this juveniles are becoming delinquents to “fit in with the crowd” they don’t want to be an outcast because there…
