In modern day society, only 65.9% of kids go to college. This means only 65.9% of kids are able to get college benefits. Going to college is a requirement for certain jobs. When graduating high school, the choice to go to college or not is available to every student. Kids who go to college are more successful in life because they can get higher paying jobs, they learn how to become independent, and they live a healthier life. Kids who go to college have more opportunities for higher paying jobs. Colleges provide very informational education to prepare students for what to expect in the real world. When a person is hiring for a job, they are more likely to choose the person with a degree than the person without one. A college degree demonstrates …show more content…
When students go to college, they have to stay on a continuous routine. They have to be at class, do homework, socialize, and sleep. This constant routine helps the body maintain a healthier state. The consistent repetition makes it easier on the body providing better performance. Socialization is also an important factor to health. Socializing provides contribution to mental health, and emotional health. Talking and being with friends can reduce stress and anxiety levels. People who go to college always have an option for socialization. College graduates also come out of out college confident in their futures. According to blackenterprise.com, “Seven in 10 of them said they participated in an internship, apprenticeship or co-op during college”. These can provide an idea of what students can expect from their futures. This leads to confidence. A person with a confident outlook is more likely to be successful than a negative outlook.

Going to college is a decision every high school graduate has to make. Although it can be expensive, the outcome is worth it. College graduates can have higher paying jobs, gain independence, and come out healthier and happier. These all are necessities for a successful lifestyle.
