To inform my audience how organ donation is important and how it can save somebody’s life.
Thesis When one becomes an organ donor after death, it is not only an important decision for oneself, but it is an important decision for a life one has the power to save.
Introduction Most people would want to say to another, “I have saved one’s life”. But becoming an organ donor, one would be able to say, “I will save a life”. Organ Donations is a big opportunity to give back others a second chance in life. Unfortunately, the number of patients waiting for a matching organ exceeds the limit of people registered to become organ donors. Many patients around the world are waiting weeks, months, and even years to get a matching organ. Patients who don’t get an organ soon end up losing their lives. When a person thinks about donating an organ, one should not think that it is a life that will be lost, but it is a chance to save multiple lives. When one becomes an organ donor after death, it is not only an important decision for oneself, but it is an important decision for a life one has the power to save.
