Benjamin Franklin's Argumentative Essay

Benjamin Franklin is known for a variety of things and needless to say he was a man capable of accomplishing multiple things. Thus, including his first political cartoon published in May 9, 1754 in his own newspaper Pennsylvania Gazette. All controlled by himself, Franklin was not only in charge of running it, but also making sure that his points were clear. More so, especially in his “Join, or Die” picture. This broken snake was more than just a simple cartoon. It was a statement for the Americans since it spoke for its self. With the intention for us to fully understand the meaning behind his work of art. Considering the black and white image, Franklin was smart enough to place the snake in a particular order. All placed in its own region,
