Beowulf's Allegory

An allegory is a story or poem that can be described or interrupted to reveal a secret meaning, usually a moral or political one. Beowulf can be interrupted as an allegory because it teaches us that being brave sometimes can be a benefit to all. Beowulf was a brave, noble warrior who fought to protect his land and the people around him, including other kingdoms. Beowulf teaches us that doing the hard thing, can result in good things happening to everyone around you. Many things happened during the life of Beowulf to make a case on him being the strongest warrior ever to live. Beowulf was more than just an ordinary man, but he was a noble warrior. Beowulf was founded upon Hrothgar because Hrothgar’s kingdom was in great danger from an evil creature named Grendel. Grendel caused terror all around the land and he didn’t want to stop his evil ways. Then came Beowulf. Beowulf showed his bravery and his case as a strong leader but cutting off Grendel’s arm. He was praised by everyone, including the highest and riches of people. Disaster wasn’t over, but it just was around the corner for the people of Heorot. Grendel’s mother came to avenge her son and took many men, including Hrothgar’s close friend/crew. Beowulf set out to look for his dear friend and kill her. Beowulf overcame
Beowulf did such a noble deed for his people and everyone around him to keep them protected. Beowulf lost his life fighting the dragon to provide wealth to the people and a safe endured life. Beowulf was man than just a man, he showed he was a hero. If it wasn’t a dragon, it was Grendel’s mother, if it wasn’t the mother, it was Grendel. Beowulf is a true example of a hero and his character will live on. Many things happened throughout the story to prove Beowulf was a true, and maybe the most bravest hero to live.
