Bernie Sanders Religion
CNN Asked Bernie Sanders About His Religion: Here’s His Breathtaking Response

As days nears South Carolina’s Democratic primary, Hillary Clinton and Sanders Bernie met

with voters at Town Hall to answer questions. This was four days before the primary in the battle

to know who will flag the state capital of Columbia.

Bernie Sanders was asked about his spirituality even with a lot of talk about Wall Street racism,

GOP’s obstructionism and Donald Trump. Americans want their president to be a Christian and

therefore this was a litmus test for him. There has been no non-Christian president in America

since the time of Thomas Jefferson. Abraham Lincoln was raised in a Christian family but was

quiet on this religious status.

does not want to let the people who believe in him down. It will be terrible and scares him if he

let them down.

This is not the first time he was talking about inclusiveness and his secular take on spirituality.

He talked more about being interconnected when he appeared live on Jimmy Kimmel. He

believes in who he is and his spirituality is that we are all in together. It is not good to believe

that as human beings we should not turn our backs on the suffering and tribulations of other

people. We should care about our brothers and sisters as our children. We are all in together

when situations are good or bad. Akira Watts of my Reverb Press Colleague says that Bernie

Sanders believe is remarkable. He believes in God and it is a plus to him because 92% of

Congress is identified as Christians.

However, Bernie Sanders does not directly say he believes in God. Some people believe that

Sanders Bernie is agnostic or an atheist. In addition, others say that; that is none of his business

so long as he does the right thing. The Americans could be preparing themselves to have a

president in the white house who is secular

In the third paragraph, there were many allusions used to credibility and historical context, such as “New World”, “Colonists”, and “Dust Bowl of the 1930s”. These examples are all related to some time period in which “some of the worst abuses have been carried out by ‘people who root themselves in ideas rather than places.’” Another strategy the author utilizes in his response is ethos. This is displayed by the way that Sanders discusses topics such as “bigotry” and the division between “tolerance” and “intolerance” to point out the morality and value behind his argument, also known as ethics. Finally, Sanders demonstrates parallelism through his effective organization of words, sentences, and paragraphs.…

Sanders in his arguments is explaining how the trinity is the gospel and all three persons are involved in the work of salvation. However, many people, in their Christian lives, tend to forget the Father and the Spirit because it was Jesus who died on the cross and brought forgiveness and salvation. For the fuller, richer Christian life, there needs to be a shift in the paradigm from Jesus-only-orientation to the Trinity God and praying with the knowledge of Trinitarianism which will result in more impactful prayer life.…
