Bethany
When I have my bad days, all I have to think about is the person that inspires me. To me, inspiration is the process of instilling faith in someone to motivate him or her to do something. Many people do things simply out of the kindness in their heart, and do not realize they are inspiring others around them. Bethany Mota is the person who inspires me the most.
Growing up, Bethany was bullied and soon began struggling with depression and anxiety. She decided to get out of bed one day and watch some YouTube videos, thus her finding the beauty community. She stacked some books (she didn't have a tripod at the time) and began to record her first video. By 2104, Bethany has 7 million subscribers and has over 200 million views. She continues to devote many hours of time creating fun, inspiring YouTube videos for her fans, along with traveling all around the world to meet them. She also started a clothing line at Aeropostale and she is currently on a show, Dancing with the Stars.
She inspires me for many reasons. She has inspired me by helping me with my struggle with boredom, shyness and bullying whenever I was younger. She basically helped me be who I am today. She makes me smile, she makes me happy, and she makes me feel like myself. She always tells us (her fans) that we’re all beautiful in our own ways and to be confident and strive for success. Showing us the she strived her dreams and successfully doing it makes me feel like I will have a chance in this world to not be afraid. Her success, being us (her fans) watching and admiring her, is world-wide which is amazing, giving us pre-teen girls a role model. A role model that was once afraid to have a voice and now is world-wide famous. She has been my idol since 2011 and has inspired me to believe in myself and to even be myself.

Some say she is only remembered by her sex appeal and drug habits but it is so much more than that to me. I personally look past the sex and drugs and look at how she is so comfortable in her own skin and that just because she has some curves that it doesn’t make her “ugly” or “fat” it just makes her a little more meaty than most models are. She doesn’t cover herself up more because she is bigger she embraces it in a way to show other women that it is okay to be more the 100 pounds and that you can still be beautiful even if you’re “overweight.” And she never let the people who didn’t agree with her decisions and opinions change her and I think that is a big problem in our world…

Although most will probably say someone close to them is inspiring, like their mother, grandmother, sister. In my opinion, they are your family, and you will always love and be inspired by them. Therefore I decided to write this on how a singer is inspiring to me. Her name is Miranda Lambert. Almost none of my friends have even heard of her. I guess because maybe she’s a country singer and they don’t really like country music? Who knows, but she is quite an amazing person. She grew up in a small town in Texas. “Not having money toughened me up a bit, but I'll always be grateful. Texas people are really strong in their roots. I started writing and playing guitar at 17. I've always loved music, and my dad is a singer-songwriter.” Miranda once…
