Liability – Because there is no distinction between the business and the owner, all liability falls on the owner/sole proprietor. If the business fails, both personal and business worth and assets are at risk as they are the same.…
I really enjoyed your writing on the use of debt and principles in light of the Biblical Worldview. The points your raised showed your knowledge of both very well. I particularly liked your point that while borrowing is frowned upon in the Bible, investing and working your money is encouraged. While there is much guidance in the Bible on management and usage of money, it can be confusing and seemingly contradictory. This is also reflective in business. Corporations do not choose to borrow for growth purposes lightly. There is much thought and analysis on the future benefits and risks to borrow before any loan papers are signed.…
Introduction: The term "image of God" occurs three times in the Bible. In Genesis 1:26-27 and 9:6, we find out that man is created in the image of God. In 2 Cor. 4:4 we see the phrase used in reference to Jesus who is the "image of God." There is no exact understanding of what the phrase means, but we can generalize. It would seem that the first two verses refer to God's character and attributes that are reflected in people. The term cannot be a reference to a physical appearance of God since Jesus says in John 4:24 that God is Spirit, and in Luke 24:39 Spirit does not have flesh and bones. Therefore, we can conclude that the image of God deals with humanity's reflection of God in such things as compassion, rationality, love, hatred, fellowship, etc. God exhibits all of these characteristics, as do people.…
Christian Worldview Integration is essential to one’s life in general and therefore, this Christian Worldview is important to life coaching. But, it is with caution that a coach introduces the Christian aspect into the coaching sessions. Life Coaching is about the client and their needs, not, the coach’s personal beliefs, but, as a Christian it is necessary if possible to consider the client’s whole life, including their religious belief system. Society, culture, belief system and religion itself is each an obstacle or barrier if the client is not a Christian. There are also times when a coach will be confronted with a Christian, that is losing faith or question their faith, this is also a difficult situation. It is important to develop a…
Often times, new believers are encouraged to read through the book of Romans. This is because Paul is able to break down essential aspects of the Christian life in a way that is both probing and encouraging. It covers aspects of the natural world, human identity, relationships, and culture. As with every word of the Bible, this book transcends time and culture and speaks as much in todays’ time as it did to the Roman church to who Romans was originally written. As believers in Christ, it is important to live these truths so that He may use our lives for His glory and honor.…

Buddhism is a way of life that is continuously growing due to a variety of reasons. The word, Buddhism, derives from “budhi”, which means “to awaken” (White, 1993). In Paul’s epistle to the Romans he gives us the foundation of Christian life in regards to how we should not only see the world, but also how we should act in a world that rejects the gospel of Christ. In Romans 1-8 Paul teaches us how we are not able to come to a saving grace through our works, but that it must come from Christ alone, and not only to the Jews, but to the Gentiles also. Paul tells us however, that this will not be easy, but we that we need to remember who is ultimately in control of everything around us.…
In the following essay on Biblical World View of, Business Administration, with the foundational Christian belief that man was created in the image of God. There will be two examples in this essay that will explain this view. In the first example, I will be going over leadership and how important it is as a Christian to remember your foundational belief that we are created in the image of God. The second example, I will be discussing the importance of honesty for Christians, since we are created in the image of God. “Immediately following each day of creation God saw that it was good, but after the creation of man, God saw that it was very good”. (Online excerpt, Original Creation of man in the image of god, 2013)Being created in the image of God does not just refer to physical appearance; it also refers to the total essence of God.…
I believe that Worldview is seriously influenced by culture, knowledge, politics, religion and upbringing. Therefore, it is not uncommon to meet people who view the Bible as mythical literature. Hence there have been occasions when I have found myself in an intense debate about whether or not information in the Bible is real. As a result, there have been occasions…
For example, having money is something that we all desire. Grudem clarifies that “while the love of money is evil, money itself is not inherently good or evil. Money is nothing more than a medium of exchange. Money provides people the opportunity to purchase something in God 's creation. In order to accurately and biblically take hold of this opportunity, one must begin with the foundation that nothing is owned unconditionally, but is simply given out by a benevolent God. Once realizing nothing is totally owned, only given by God, one sees that God is incomprehensibly wealthy and that having money is not…
There is currently a major dispute on whether or not the United States Constitution correlates with a Biblical worldview. When the founders wrote the Constitution they wrote it based on what had thrived within many previous civilizations and people groups such as the Roman, the Greek, and the Hebrew which happens to be, the Bible. Research shows that, the U.S. Constitution was written by deriving ideas from several different philosophers, and many principals and passages from the Bible.…
Competing worldviews are breaking out everywhere especially throughout North America. Two sides with vastly differing and incompatible worldviews are being locked in a bitter conflict that permeates every level of society. On one side of the battle is the Christian worldview, and on the other is the Humanist worldview divided into three branches: Secular Humanism, Marxism/Leninism, and Cosmic Humanism. It’s in this essay that we will seek to understand all of the three Humanist worldviews while presenting a strong, honest, truthful, intelligent defense of Biblical Christianity. As believers in and followers of Jesus Christ, we need to consider how our commitment to Him affects not just our political and ethical convictions, but also the way…
