The Bill of Rights is the collective name for the first ten amendments to the United States Constitution. They were proposed to assure the fears of Anti-Federalist who had opposed Constitutional ratification. The Bill of Rights guaranteed a number of personal freedoms, limit the government’s power in judicial and other proceedings, and reserve some powers to the states and the public. Firstly, the Bill of Rights is successful in assuring the adoption of the Constitution. Secondly, the Bill of Rights did not address every foreseeable situation. It has had some failures that did not end up in the Bill of Rights. It has also assured the safety of people. The Bill of Rights is the best weapon in the United States of America because it protects the citizens that make this nation great. Every government agency has checks and balances that allow them not to get too strong and overthrow the people. The Bill of Rights is what America is about, freedom and having the right to it without anyone being able to deprive you from it. The Bill of Rights plays a key role in American Law and government, and remains a vital symbol of the freedoms and culture of the
