What is the most appropriate research design for the issue, opportunity, or problem identified in Week Three?
The most appropriate research design would be Exploratory Research. Exploratory Research is more appropriate for this topic because; it focuses more on the problem that is being presented is which is absenteeism within the workplace which has been known to be a huge downfall for many organizations. We are also addressing the cause and the effect of the workplace. Explain why two other research designs were not used. We are not using descriptive is because; descriptive focuses on describing the situation and we are not using Casual Research because, focuses more on the effect of the situation then the cause and effect. Exploratory Research because we are looking for answer to a problem in the work place.
2. What data collection method(s) will be used? (i.e., Survey, Interview, etc.) The data collections that will be used are Surveys. Surveys are very helpful to the workplace. A survey will let a company know what can be done to make customers be delighted costumers. A survey can identify relationships between motivation and satisfaction. Surveys are also a technique that collects large number of data to provide feedback of their point of view. I also agree that a questionnaire would work, that way everyone would be honest.
3. Will you use an existing instrument or develop a new instrument? Yes! We will use an existing instrument. An existing instrument will be used to help us determine the Reliability of the employees.
