Materials needed:
• Cedar lumbar wood 8 feet long and 1-inch wide
• Box of nails size 1-1/4 inch
• Wood glue
• Paint (Any color to pain the house - Optional)
• Paint brush (If painting the birdhouse)
• Tape measure
• Saw
• Drill
• Hammer
• Eye hooks (A bolt with a loop at the end)
• Rope
• Pencil
• Gloves – For protecting your hands
• Eye goggles
• Dowel (A peg of wood)
• Sandpaper

Second, ask someone who is 18 or older and have them cut the wood. Next, you will need to use the tape measure. You need to measure out 9x7 ¼ inches. Once you have measured out the front and back have the two 9x7 ¼ inch pieces cut out by an adult with the saw for the front and the back of the birdhouse. 3. Third, take those two 9x7 ¼ inch pieces and place them on the table. Take the tape measure again and measure out 1 and ½ inches from the edge of the top and make an angle so that the top is shaped as a triangle. Take the pencil to trace the angle. Do this for both the front and back pieces of the bird house. Then have the adult saw the pieces so that the top of the birdhouse is shaped into a triangle.
4. Fourth, take the remaining wood and place it on the table. Take the tape measure and measure out two pieces of wood that is 5 and ½ inches. And have the adult cut the two side pieces for the top of the bird house. Then finally take the tape measure again and measure out 5 and ½ inches by 2 and ½ inch on the remaining piece of wood and make a mark with the pencil. Have the adult cut out the bottom piece of the birdhouse with the
