Bolin The Butcher: Circumstantial Killer

In 1986, a tragedy struck the Tampa Florida area in the form of an unknown monster soon to be unmasked and formally introduced as Oscar ray Bolin Jr. Born in January 1962; also known as, "Bolin the Butcher", Bolin began his murderous antics on January 25, 1986 with the abduction and murder of Natalie "Blanche" Holley. He went on to accumulate three victims, all of which he stood trial for. His victims also including a 17 year old by the name of Stephanie Collins and a 26 year old by the name of Teri Lynn Matthews. While these cases progressed, Bolin concurrently served a 25-75 year sentence for a rape charge in Ohio. Even with the evidence provided, direct and circumstantial, he somehow managed to return to the court of appeals for all three murders on
Amongst all of the court dates and trials, he still managed to find love in the form of a woman by the name of Rosalie Martinez. At the time, 25-year-old Holley was leaving from work when Bolin kidnapped, stabbed, and bludgeoned her to death before dumping her in an abandoned Tampa orange grove. The murder investigation proved unproductive until after a third victim linked the crimes together. Holley worked as a restaurant manager at a Church's Chicken on Fowler Avenue and had no obvious connection to Bolin prior to her death. This made it extremely difficult to determine a motive as to who had the motive to take her life. Determined by the investigative team, Bolin stabbed Holley a total of 10 times before he dumped her body.
