Patsy And John Benet Ramsey Case: The Murder Of Jonbenet
The Murder of Jonbenet
How would you feel if someone you love was grousomly attacked and then murdered?
On December 25th,1996, there was a horrific event in Boulder, Colorado at the home of Patsy and John Benet Ramsey; their beautiful, pageant-winning star was murdered. Since the Jonbenet ramsey case has been going on for twenty-two years now, there have been new leads against the family and sexual assault predators.
To begin, it is important for one to understand the events that occured the night jonbenet was murdered. That night, Patsy and John Benet were at a house party then arrived home late that night with their kids: Jonbenet and Burke. Jonbenet was extremely tired and fell asleep that's when her father took his daughter to bed, while

Some of the theories have been investigated and all signs point to the family. When the bolder police arrived to the home of the ramseys they saw them disappear into the basement. Then later when the police were asking questions they proceeded to ask if anything was missing or out of place in their home, and they told the family to go look around the house and see if anything was. The first thing John benet did was go straight to the basement out of all places, and then carried his baby girl upstairs, and took off the duct tape from her mouth. This caused tampering with the evidence and made the evatigation impossible to figure out who was the killer. The police believed that the parents did it or were covering for someone who did. All the evidence that was credible pointed to their family because it was all in the home and left there after the murder. As for the bizarre ransom note that was three pages long and written on Patsy’s notepad; whose handwriting matched the one on the ransoms note. Who would have the time to write an intricate note and practice it before hand? It made it seem like the killer was someone who cared and was upset about her death. Another theory was that night she was killed Jonbenet actually wet her bed and went to go explain to her parents what happened and her mom woke up screaming at her six year old daughter and struck her in the head with a flashlight. This would have …show more content…
On December 25th a Mr. Gary Oliva with past charges of sexual assault , was in the ramseys neighborhood when she was killed. Then after her death he went to a candlelight dinner alone. After that he went on with his night and texted his close friend “I’ve done something horrible” according to source this is on a timeline of her murder. When he was arrested and taken into custody for child pronogerphy the police searched his house and had found a picture of Jonbenet and a poem called “Ode to Jonbenet”. This is all forms of stalking and given his past he could been the one to have rapped then killed her because of his love for her. After he was Interrogated by Boulder police he said “I feel she was an exceptional girl whose death was an exceptional loss. I felt the need to build a monument, a shrine, to remember this little girl.-Denver Post.” He seems to be obsessed with JonBenet and wand to remember his love for

The morning of December 26th, 1996 Patsy claimed to have “found a ransom note asking for $118,000 for the child” (Solin 1). The amount of money requested is very peculiar, considering the Ramsey family was extremely wealthy and $118,000 also happened to be “the exact amount that John Ramsey received as a bonus from work” (The Forensics Outreach Team 2). The note also included direct movie quotations from popular movies with ransom notes in them. Next, the handwriting expert Cina Wong said to have found “over 200 similarities in the writing of the ransom note and the 100 samples of Patsy’s penmanship” (Spargo 1). If this is not enough to prove the note was written by Patsy, the note was written on a pad from the Ramsey household. When rewritten by researchers, it took them an average of 20 minutes to get the whole note down (Norman 1). If looked at from a realistic point of view, it is extremely unlikely for an intruder to break into a house, murder a child and sit at the kitchen table for twenty minutes without being caught. Finally, although the trauma to the head was a major factor in her death, JonBenet’s autopsy reported strangulation was a factor. She was found with a garrote around her neck composed of tools from Patsy’s craft kit. In addition, Mark Beckner, former Boulder Police Chief who lead the JonBenet Ramsey case, reports that strangulation occurred somewhere between forty-five minutes to two hours after the brain injury. If an intruder staying for twenty minutes sounds questionable, forty-five minutes to two hours should convince one that it was certainly someone belonging to the…

John Ramsey located the child’s body in the wine cellar, a room off the boiler room in the basement of the Ramsey’s home. He found his daughter with duct tape over her mouth, her wrists bound above her head, and a nylon cord wrapped so tightly around her neck that it cut deeply into her skin. The motive behind Jon Benet’s murder is unknown but there is speculation of rage for wetting the bed from her mother or a botched kidnapping.…

In October 2013, unsealed court documents revealed that a 1999 grand jury had recommended charges against John and Patsy for child abuse resulting in death.[7] However, the district attorney said there was insufficient evidence to warrant charges being filed.[7] In 2003, trace DNA taken from the victim's clothes was found to belong to an unknown male, inducing the district attorney's successor in 2008 to send the Ramseys a letter of apology, declaring the family "completely cleared".[8] In February 2009, the Boulder Police Department took the case back from the district attorney and reopened the investigation.[9]…

Lizzie Borden Has to be guilty. First her alibi ended up not checking out. Next was the rather shady behavior. Finally, the destruction of evidence. So because of these reasons her guilt will be proved. I will start with her alibi and others, and if they checked out. First off, John Morse must be innocent. Also, Emma Borden is innocent. According to (Linder, 2004) she was away from the home the day and time of the murders meaning she is entirely unlinked to the murders.
