are now in her 20s. She is in a loveless marriage, with a neglectful husband. Tanya, as tireless as she is in her teenage year, embark on many other adventure where she thrived in the intensity and possibility of getting caught. She start small by stealing money from places she work, later she commit identity fraud to open fake bank account. And also she embark on a impulsive trip to mexico: befriend drug dealer, agree to smuggling and risk her life by “participating” in a car chase- in the middle of the night. The conflict of this whole book is mostly man vs. man. But most of the conflict are purposefully inflicted by Tanya: herself. With an IQ of above 150,”creative geniuses” she said “I wanted Chaos. I wanted to be chased. I wanted to be questioned, suspected, respected and loathed. I wanted to fight for my life and liberty. More than anything, I wanted the pleasure of fear...I did it to add to the mayhem of everything else I was doing, all in an attempt to tip my over into the pandemonium, looking for the thrill of being overwhelmed and challenged, hoping someone would pursue so I could run. ”(195 kindle Thompson)
My favorite part of the book, would be how Tanya stated making false identification. It fascinate the lack of security back in the late 1980s. Also, this part of the book give me the fascination of watching how a genius's mind work. I would recommend this book to 13 years and above. There are physical description of using drug, and semi-description of rape and semi-detailed description of sex. Also include child abuse, reckless driving, physical violence, fraud and other illegal activity.
