In one event called the Boston Massacre the colonists were unhappy and they were trowing snow balls at the sentry placed at the customhouse door and soldiers came and killed 3 men and left several several wounded (doc 3). Technically it wasn't a massacre they only called it a massacre because they wanted to exaggerate for propaganda (doc 3). Everyone protested the stamp act it wasn't just certain people women, men, African american people all protested (doc 7). The people hated Andrew Oliver who went around and collected taxes from the stamp act and threatened Andrew until he resigned (doc 5). The tea consignees were returning to Boston to get charged for being traders to Boston(doc 8). One man named Mr. Joyce suggested that the people of Boston tar and feather the tea consignees (doc 8). Most likely todays people would agree with colonist more than the Britain Empire but see some of Britons Points. It is impossible to have absolutely no taxes yet they were a little extreme and the colonist needed to understand that the taxes were kind of used for good. The Boston was unnecessary and Britain was really out of line killing g those people.
