Brief Summary Of Tuck Everlasting By Winnie Foster
In the book Tuck Everlasting, a young girl named Winnie Foster is ten-years-old and is tired of her family trying to always limit her freedom in the world by always bossing her around and only letting her roam in certain areas and plans on running away. During the night time, while Winnie was playing in the front yard of her family's house, Winnie was approached by a tall man that wore a yellow suit approached Winnie and asked questions about her family and about the land. The day after Winnie slips out of the house and goes into a wooded area her family owns when she suddenly sees a boy. The boy's name is Jesse he tells her and he tries to tell her don’t drink the spring water there but, but then before he could explain why a woman named …show more content…
Angus teaches Winnie how important it is to tell no one about the springs magic so that it won't be used to be sold. While Angus and Winnie are talking the man in the yellow suit overhears their conversation and goes to tell the Fosters family about Winnie's ware bouts and they agreed if he brought Winnie back home safe the Fosters would give the man the wooded area along with the spring which angers the Tuck family. The man in the yellow suits threatens the Tuckers saying that if they won't be his example of the water making them live forever Winnie would. As the man kidnaps Winnie Mae pulls a gun out and hits him over the head with it fracturing his skull. Mae is later than arrested and is expected to be hung the same day so they go and rescue Mae and Winnie take her spot in the cell for a short time as the Tuck family tries to leave the town before they are found again. Before they leave Jesse gives Winnie some water from the spring and tell her to drink it, but she doesn’t and pours it on a toad because she thought that if she changes her mind she can just go back to the spring and drink the water. Years past and the Tuck family find Winnie's grave and see that she died two years ago and had

    As the movie begins, Dan and his wife, Beth, go to a company party when he meets Alex Forrest for the first time. The next morning Beth and daughter, Ellen, leave for the weekend to look at a house they are considering moving into while Dan stays at home for a business meeting. When he arrives at the meeting, Alex is also there. After the meeting is over, Alex and Dan go to have drinks; Alex asks Dan about his family life and begins to make sexually suggestive comments. They go back to Alex’s apartment and have sex together. In the morning, Dan goes home to call Beth. Immediately after Dan hangs up, Alex calls and questions Dan about why he left so early.
