Organization uses information to govern internal processes & procedures, understand the market, deliver fast and make the right decision. The high management increasing awareness about the information and its importance indicate the importance of the information and its advantages. What are some of the possible consequences of asking a worker to use a computer or similar device in his or her job?

Workers resist using new technology because (but not limited to) the following reasons: 1. People now need to know not only what to do but also how to do it. Worker might be afraid he/she might lose his/her job because his/her skills and capability does not match with the new technology requirements. Moreover, multiple functions will disappear after using new technology such as eliminating multiple data entry, using paperless tools to transfer and validate data etc. This represents a huge risk to workers and they try to escape from this change. 2. Worker might commit number of frauds or defalcations due to weakness or gap in the manual process, and the technology will expose these activities. 3. People used to tradition ways to do their works. They prefer face to face meeting instead of conference voice/video calls, and phone instead of email and instant messaging communication. They like to spend time in retrieving and manipulating information instead of centralized digital, social and collaboration methods. They just used to this and they don’t want to
