According to Ohio.edu, the article “Cyberbullying vs Traditional Bullying” says, “Those who wield power over another may have knowledge or content such as images, video or information that can be used to inflict harm on another through cyberbullying.” (Ohio 4). That means that if the bully has the knowledge of the images or videos to harm someone, they can enforce it on the target. Never give the bully information about the target, or else they will use that information to harm him or her. It would make the target feel worse than they might already think. That is true advantage for the bully in cyber bullying. The target will never know who you are if you stay anonymous, which that could hurt the target more because they won’t know who you are.
These are all true reasons why cyberbullying is worse than the regular bullying. But neither of these two ideas is good. There are some bad things still with traditional bullying. Traditional bullying can be worse at times, especially at school. If the bully has a lot of friends, they would support the bully and bully you in the old, classic school yard. They can bully you face to face right in front of your schoolmates. They can do the most harmful thing too: the beating up trick. If a bully comes up to you face to face, they are not most likely to talk just smack on you like they would in cyber bullying. They might push you down to get your attention from the start. And if the target fights back, the bully or bullies will throw punches and attempt to beat you up. Also, if there is more than one bully, do not try to fight back. It is almost impossible to fight back on five people when it is only you. That is also another reason why regular bullying can be worse than cyber
