In the episode, there are a few different characters. Goku is an orphan that lives in the mountains. There is a beautiful teenage girl that is with them, Bulma. These are the two main characters of the show. She is searching for mystical balls that grant wishes called dragon balls. They come together when Bulma hits Goku head-on while driving. Bulma already has two of the balls, and decides to let Goku join her in her quests so she can utilize his strength and Dragon Balls that he has received from his grandfather. They go together to their adventures on a motorcycle, but Bulma is kidnapped by a giant flying dinosaur. Goku takes out the monster with his Power Pole and rescues her.
