` Principles of Supervision
In an organization it must acquire a manager/supervisor and employees to keep the business a float. The business also needs a positive and functioning environment to create a successful business. In creating a functional working environment each person must have respect, common sense and willingness to learn. In order to have a commutative work field regardless of the business the employees and supervisors must learn to work with others. For example having a different culture or having language barrier can cause challenges within the workers, so having a cohesive group working together can overcome all challenges. A supervisor, foreperson, team leader, overseer, cell coach, facilitator, or area coordinator is a manager in a position of trust in business. “A good supervisor places a high priority on coaching employees. Good coaching involves working with employees to establish suitable goals, action plans and time lines.” (Carter McNamara, PhD, 2010) The US Bureau of Census has four hundred titles under the supervisor classification. An employee is a supervisor if he/she has the power and authority to do the following actions. For example like give instructions and/or orders to subordinates, held responsible for the work and actions of other employees. A supervisor is an employee that has been promoted to a higher standard because that person understands and has experience in the area they work in. The supervisor is the person in between the manager and the employees of that company or organization. In some cases some supervisors can be the middle man for the function of the business.
