Imagine that you are starting your own company. What will be the ethical code of your company?
Write a 200- to 300-word ethical code of conduct listing the rules and principles that your company will use in decision-making.
Provide a brief explanation of why you selected each rule and principle.
The ethical code for my business, which is a café with a recording space, would include several things but at the top of the list is integrity. I chose these principles because they promote team work and productivity which is needed of the company to succeed.

Integrity
Uphold honesty and truthfulness with the company, coworkers and customers at all times.
I put this at the top of the list because you are trust an employee with your livelihood when they join your company. You want to your business in the hands of people you can trust.
Safety
Operate all equipment in accordance with company safety standards to promote a safe work environment for all.
Due to the nature of the business, you want to make sure everyone is safe. You definitely do want people getting injured when it can be easily avoided.
Team Work-
Working together to complete task translates onto a great work atmosphere and loyal customers.
There is no “I” in team. As much as we like to do things ourselves, together we become more effective at achieving a common goal.
SEXUAL HARASSMENT
Is prohibited and will not be tolerated
This is huge because nobody wants to come to work and feel uncomfortable. It also lowers moral and productivity
Drugs of alcohol
At no time should any employee be in possession or under the influence of drugs or alcohol. All employees and company members will be subject to pre-employment drug testing. This will require random drug screenings throughout the year.
