Business Challenges

In the Case Commentary by Lawrence J. DeMonaco, the primary business challenges is the lack of understanding what power is, who posses it, and how it should be used. Because the integration process in business is critical and it needs speed, there is a need for top people to come together and form as a nucleus of a selection team (Light, 2013). Power is important and the proper use of it is important because this serves a machination where the success of business lies. The criteria of selection should place emphasis on the success of the business. Another challenge a business faces is when the head of the company forgets to reassure people that they are very important in the success of the business and the company itself.

Human capital is very important, because it is through the use of the skills and talents of those who are employed in business that the business is able to become successful. One person cannot do it alone, and it is important that those who are powerful, those who have the means of being able to invest in business, are also encourage to be business partners as the case may be. The stock of knowledge, social attributes, and creativity, make it easier for a business to perform better and produce value in the economy. As per evaluation, it is necessary that those who are employed are fit and capable enough to carry out the responsibilities which a business requires. They must be able to contribute to the success of the business through what their skills, talents, and knowledge can offer. It is also important that there is intensive planning because with planning per se, the business will surely fail. It is in this planning that there are alternative plans when one plan does not work. Through this, a company may undergo fluctuations but it can recover easily. The company must be able to keep records which will serve as the basis on pinpointing which part of the business needs to be developed. Lastly, there is a need that there is harmonious relationship between the head of the company and his or her subordinates, and among the
