Business Strategy of Anglo American
Organization:
Organization is a social unit of people that is structured and managed together to meet a need or to pursue collective goal. All organizations have a management structure that determines relationships between the different activities and the members, and subdivides and assigns roles and responsibilities, and authority to carry out different tasks. Organizations are open system, they affect and are affected by their environment.
Purpose of different organization; * Profit making organization * Non-profit making organization * Charity organization Different organizations have different purposes .some work for profit and some are non profit organizations that work for the welfare of society. A business or other organization whose primary goal is making money ,as opposed to non-profit organization which focuses a goal such as helping the community and is concerned with money only as much as necessary to run the organization and most companies considered to be businesses are for profit organizations: these includes super markets, estate agencies, fast food industry etc.
.]Non profit organization uses surplus revenues to achieve its objectives rather than distributing them as profit and dividends. Charity based organizations are also non profit organization.
Types of organizations: the main types of organization.- * Sole traders * Partnership * Franchises
Anglo-American in terms of organisational purpose;
Anglo American organization is basically a profit based organization .It is a world-leading mining company, as it is working to use resources more efficiently in order to meet the growing demand of energy in a social responsible way, which means respecting the environment while using the resources.
