Callahan's Eliminations: A Narrative Fiction
“Help!” he yelled as loud as he could
He kept yelling for hours. Another inmate died that night Callahan heard the bells and said
“Thank god!”
The truck pulled up and Callahan started to scream
“Help!”
Somebody above ground heard him and yelled back.
“Hurry grab the shovel!”
Callahan was close to death the guards got to the box and opened it. Callahan gasped the fresh air. The guards barked
“What are you doing down here!”
Callahan had to be honest
“It was my plan to escape.”
They pulled him out of the coffin and took him back to the court yard. And he was given a life sentence. But he was thankful to be alive. Random prisoners said
“Wow. He’s the guy who tried to escape in a coffin.”
The guards said “You must be crazy.”

The new guard stayed and helped old and weak Calahan with his job. He earned the trust of some of the guards and got to have a better breakfast lunch and dinner compared to the junk they serve the others.
A man convicted of murder tried to escape but he died trying. Callahan was going to go bury the coffin with the guard when they heard pounding coming from the coffin the opened it up and saw the man jump up struggling for air. Then he looked at the guard and ran the guard shot his leg and he fell to the ground we picked him up and put him in the back seat of the truck we got back to the prison and got him to the doctor at the prison.
