This notion of faith does not only apply to religion but also to faith in oneself. In his auto-biography President Coolidge states, “if we keep our faith in ourselves, and what is even more important, keep our faith in regular and persistent application to hard work, we need not worry about the outcome,” (Page 60). I do community service twice a week and often more than that, and I understand the importance of my commitment because my time and effort helps other people. I hope that doing the right thing will always be valued in our society, for in a time of war, anger, and poverty, we sometimes need to think of the good of others and society before our
