• Camareus’s aunt were in a pleasant mood when the QP met with them for a session and welcomed her in their home.
• Camareus’s aunt stated, “my brother was horrible to the kids just like he was to me and the kids were emotionally, physically, and sexual abused while in his care.”
• Camareus’s aunt’s wife reported, “Camareus pretends to commit suicide or lies about having suicidal thoughts so he can be hospitalized as well as to seek attention.”
• Camareus’s aunt’s wife commented, “Camareus urinating on things such as the dresser, on floor, on clothes, and on shoes is the most frustrating thing because he does not have to do those things, but he does it when he is anger …show more content…
Goal 2: Camareus will remain in his aunts' home.
• Camareus’s aunt informed the Camareus was with Turning Point Family Care for about a year and they don’t feel like it was beneficial and he was receiving OPT.
• Camareus’s aunts listened as the QP provided an overview of IIH services and the length of time they expect the family to be involved in treatment.
• Camareus’s aunts reflected on his goals which to regulate his behavior and his emotions, improve his academic performance at school, and remain in his aunt’s home.
• Camareus’s aunt’s wife said, “when I was orginally approached about IIH services I said no because I feel like it is another way for Camareus to be in control then he gets a lot of attention from entire team of people and I am not sure he needs this, so I am still skeptical of services.”
• Camareus’s aunt’s wife listened as the QP informed her IIH is not a miracle services things will not change overnight it is a process and everyone has to be consistent in their effort to teach Camareus a new way of
