The second question is does the speaker have something to gain by changing my opinion? The speaker is the person who wrote the PSA about bullying. My opinion is that bullying is unnecessary because we are people, and it does not matter about the way we look because we are all children of God. I would say that the speaker would not gain anything by changing my opinion because we both disagree
with bullying.
The third question is do I want to believe this simply because it was stated by someone I like or admire? I would have to disagree because this is what I believe but also what many others believe.
The fourth question is does this statement agree with my Christian ideals and standards? Why or why not? I believe that it does agree with my Christian ideals and standards, because the Bible tells us to build others up not tear them down. Ephesians 4:29 says, " Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen."
The fifth and final question is do I know the statement is based on fact, and can I verify the fact from multiple resources? The statement is bullying is consequential. Two websites that say the same thing are,"http://www.bullyingstatistics.org/content/bullying-and-suicide.html." and," http://nobullying.com/bullying-suicide-statistics/."
